What a useful MVP needs to include
A minimum product has a narrow purpose and a complete experience for the people asked to test it.
By VPFUnited Solutions
Minimum should describe scope, not care or quality. A product can contain very few features and still feel considered, reliable and worth testing.
Choose one important journey and complete it from beginning to end. Include empty states, errors, realistic data and a clear next step. Those details decide whether someone can use the product without guidance.
Prioritise around risk. Ask which assumption would weaken the idea most if it proved false, then build the smallest honest way to test it. Features that do not help answer that question can wait.
Some foundations still matter: secure access where needed, dependable data, a way to get support and enough measurement to learn from real use.
Plan for the next stage without building it early. A sound data model, clear boundaries and documented decisions make growth possible while keeping the first release focused.
